Retracing our steps through the millennia to the beginning of times, we find ourselves back at the fireplace in the
prehistoric cave. Here we realise that the most primal of our needs are safety and warmth. The tree branch and the stone,
found at the end of this journey back in time, are combined in this lighting object. Every stone is unique, and captures the
emotion of eternity as well as being used as a functional counterweight.

The branch arm of the Flintstone is movable, allowing the light to be adjusted and easily moved through space.

William Brand(owner/ designer) graduated at the Utrecht School of the Arts in the Netherlands, where he was trained as an architect. The first lighting sculpture "Chandelier" became an instant icon. The passion for lighting sculptures results in an impressive collection, with yearly additions of new designs. As all the Brand van Egmond lighting sculptures are handmade, they are frequently asked to customise for specific clients and projects across the world.
